    I wish I had made the same choice years ago before I sold mine. It wasn't as nice as yours but it was an all #'s matching '43 Springfield that was probably shooter grade. Shot good and I loved the weight of it.

      It must be difficult, I am not looking forward to the time in my life where I need to act on reducing my firearm inventory due to illness or age.
      My Dad is 84 and up until a couple years ago he was buying guns.
      When I think about somebody else owning my collection I just hope they appreciate and take care of them. I assume it will be my boys.
      At 57 I'm not there yet.

        I bought a Traditions 50 cal black powder rifle from a guy that won it. It used the sabot and the slugs of powder. It was very difficult to load. I sold it and never looked back. I also bought and sold a Ruger LC9. Loved the size hated the trigger!
        I kept every other gun/rifle/revolver/pistol I ever came across and that makes me smile.
        I am broke though. Not really. I'm OK, honest. I hope.
