Where to get project guns.

I really enjoy refinishing older lever guns but have trouble finding suitable candidates. The only real source I know of is Gunbroker or Gunauction and the occasional lucky pawn shop find. Most guns in need of rehab don't seem to make it to the net or the sales counter.

I was wondering what gun shows in CA or our neighboring states might be good for finding refurb specimens. I have a C&R lic. so it shouldn't be too hard to buy out of state. Any thoughts?

Its really luck of the draw. I find the oldest gun shop in town will typically have the oldest guns. Don't forget about backpage.com. best of luck!
