CMP 'relcaimed amount' on ammo?

Hi all,

I was reading up on the webs recently, and I read that some people were buying cases of 30-06 that normally goes for $105, for something like $60 because they get a 'reclaimed amount' of $40ish. What is this reclaimed amount stuff about?

I have no idea, but there are club discounts and I think discounts at some events (used to be free ammo at some events but I think no longer).

I also wonder if it was an old post people used to talk a lot about the cost after selling the bandoleers, clips, etc.
