    SKS Stripper Clips feed problems

Out of a couple dozen or so I bought, id' say about a 1/3 of them suck and won't feed ammo worth a dang. I'm sure they are the cheap made in china versions but is there any known way to work them so they will actually loosen up and feed rounds?

I've tried some polishing w/ lapping compound on an old casing and some small screwdriver prying but they are not getting any better and are about to go in the trash. I'd like to end up w/ a few dozen good ones that feed easily to store rounds on but don't want to keep buying crappy ones.

Any good place to buy non-china/good ones?
I see Aim and NC Star brands, either of those better than the other?

(I searched but you get a lot of various "stripper" clips posts when searching.)
Thanks for any info or insight!

Buy surplus original stripper clips. They work better. Also I heard you can file those commercial clips to work better.

+1 for surplus clips. Find some Yugo ammo still on clips, they work pretty well.

most of my clips are chinese and work fine the ones with heavy looking parkerization are sticky

maybe its how you use them i use them buy holding the top round and using it as a tool to shove in the rest my thumb on the rear of the top case and pointer finger slightly under the bullet tip i shove them in and when i get to the last couple i slip my finger out from under the top ones bullet tip and thumb the last one in

its harder to explain than to show

^^This^^ and for me it seems like one swift push to get them all in at once works better than stopping mid push and starting over
