Might not be a bad idea! I have an M38 in an M38 stock that I love. Many have been refurbed in an M44 stock. They are harder to come by as of late. If you find one at a reasonable price($200 or so) I think you should jump on it. Just my thoughts.NRA MEMBERComment

wow i got one from big5 last june for $99 bucks,they mis-took it for a 91/30 and put the tag on it. i made them honor their tag and got a sweet m38 for it...Comment
