Heads up on a Saginaw M1 carbine

I stopped by Imbert & Smithers today and much to my surprise I noticed they had a cute littel M1 Carbine with a Saginaw SG marked recievier, and an underwood barrel. The stock looked comercial with no marks or cartouches the handguard was a four rivet deal and looked like it was walnut stained birch where as the stock was walnut.

Asking price was $800
