    c&r question

    Hey guys please forgive any misspells or grammer as posting off a cphone not the best keyboard

    So heres my question i have a rifle from 53 i want to sell here i know i can do a ftf no prob
    but if i wanna ship it to a buyer inside ca do he and or i need a c&r liscens or is it same a ftf transaction?

    The 50+ year old C&R long gun exemption in California law does not specify that the transaction has to be face to face. Shipping the gun would qualify for the same exemption as a face to face transaction. It's just harder to verify to whom you are really transferring the firearm when you ship it to a stranger.
