My buddy wants me to assemble a1 clone with carry handle, triangle hand guards 20" barrel I have the lower with stock already. I have a fixed carry handle upper just need triangle handguards and 20" pencil barrel.

Already have buttstock and those are to rough. I will get from right to bear arms I guess. I may have a pencil barrel in my parts or on an a2 upper I cam swap out.Comment

Have you looked at Fulton Armory? I got the parts to make the A1 clone from there a few years ago. I did check and they do have that barrel in stock. They also have the hand guards.

Sounds like a neat project in a free state. For California you could mag-lock it without ruining the visual aspect, and use an old GI aluminum magazine that has been pinned. To really make it fun, you could replicate some of the early ball ammunition that gave them all the trouble and see what happens.Comment
