You will have to be a litle more specific as to your use. Does caliber matter? If not, then a .32 caliber squirrel rifle style may be your best choice. If you need a Civil War replica, then I think the Zouave was the snipers choice.

You won't get accuracy compared to a smokless rifle until you get into the benchrest style rifle and even then the range is best limited to about 200 yards.

Pedersoli, Navy Arms, Euro arms??? Is there one manufacturer that is more accurate than the others?

Haven't decided yet Pennsylvania, Hawken or Whitworth? Leaning toward a scope Whitworth, reproduction of the Civil War sniper rifle.

Yea I'm an FNG to BP.

IMHO, the Pedersoli are much better made rifle compared to the Euro Arms and generally have the price tag to match. The Euro Arms is also a good product and would probably be my choice for starting, until you find out what you need. I think the Navy Arms may not give you the level of accuracy that you want.

In the non-replica bp arena, the in-line rifles are more accurate but lack the traditional look.
