    Chinese training manuals -

I've had these for quite awhile - They're small pocket size books - My Chinese is limited to swear words I learned as a young boy living in "Cho Lon" | Saigon -

I find it fascinating that all 3 guides seems to push how to shoot an airplane out of the sky -

For our Chinese speakers - Please feel free to add anything you'd like -

Very cool! Reminds me of a museum in Laos I visited many years ago that had a couple of ****ty guns with a plaque proudly proclaiming how each one shot down an American jet fighter. I visited the same museum several years later and they were all removed from display. Still have photos of them

The 3rd one is most interesting. Type 53 is actually a copy of Mosin Nagant M44.

I can read Chinese so if you have any questions on these manuals I can try translating the text.

The Chinese copied a lot of Soviet designs (among others), the TT-33, DP-27, PPS (2 patterns), PPSH, M44, SKS, RPD, AKM, Dragunov, Makarov, etc.

Looks like they're showing how to gun down a man hanging by his parachute. Doesn't seem fair and might even be illegal. But maybe I'd do it if he had just killed some of my friends.

Nothing in the manuals on spreading virus? Leave it to the Chinese to put it out there...

Nice. I once had "The Red Book", give to me by a Red Brigade member, in the 3rd floor sub-basement of a Chinese restaurant in the City . PAX

Oh yes - The virus is all over me now -

I've had these since the late 80s - If COVID-19 was around back then - Well guess that's the way I'll go -

                    LOL - Propaganda goes far!

                        Thank you!

Were these printed as guided aids to allies?
