More Middle East Pieces -

Had some time to snap some pics of a few more middle east pieces.



First up, Hungarian 91/30 with Arabic rack numbers on the stock. Have not disassembled it but so far haven't seen any import marks. Mismatched bolt but lots of 02 marks on the bolt

I'll bring it to the next C&R shoot and anyone can shoot it, but only if you wear the belt and scabbard (note the tin foil tape chrome job)

Last up and one of my favorites, a Citadel Martini-Enfield Carbine

British built gun, rebuilt in Egypt at the 800+ year old Citadel fortress and re-chambered for .303

Nice Citadel carbine! I have a Citadel ME rifle. Despite the incredibly heavy trigger pull, it is an accurate rifle. The bore is pit free and has sharp rifling.

It seems like it although I haven't completely disassembled it yet. It function tests fine, firing pin doesn't appear to be cut and I don't see any sort of welds in barrel/receiver/chamber

The bore is dirty but not pitted, wondering if it was used to shoot blanks but who knows, over there they like to shoot their guns up in the air at celebrations so maybe they just used live rounds

I wonder what the story is on this rifle anyway. I'm sure it could just be a stateside bubba job but who knows

Only chromed out Enfield I've been able to find so far is "Guard of Honour at Amman in Jordan" but different bayonets and no white sling
