    Ballester Molina Ejection Issues Question

Any Ballester Molina owners here that have experienced spent round ejection trajectory issues?

I've acquired the following C&R handguns and one seems to frequently eject the spent casings between 6 and 5 o'clock. The other performs it at the normal range of between 3 and 4 o'clock. I ran 5 magazines through each one at 7 rounds each. Ammo was CCI Blazer Brass 230 .45 ACP.

The handgun with the issue was most likely manufactured between 1950 and 1951. The one without issues was manufactured much earlier.

The one with the issue is the one pictured at the top.

I'll disassemble the slide and post more pics sometime this week of the catch and other internals. This is most likely beyond my current skill sets and will have me seeking a gunsmith to troubleshoot further. Referrals to a 1911 styled C&R gunsmith near the San Gabriel / San Fernando Valleys would be appreciated.

    Many thanks in advance.

Maybe tune the extractor and ejector a bit.

Thanks. Started researching and I have a few nights worth of reading to do.
