    Help with repro Jungle Carbine

I've had this in the safe for several years, but haven't been able to ID it much.
It appears to be a cut down #4, but beyond that I haven't a clue.
Anyone have an idea on what I've got?
    Thanks!

You are correct that it looks like a cut down No4. I don't see the lightening cuts on the receiver around the rear sight which is a giveaway. Here's a pic that shows some of the differences between the No4 and No5.

Being a #4, that probably means it will be accurate.

Conversion by Navy Arms. Not an original but probably a great shooter.

You have some very large pictures.

          And the obligatory toe shot

          Nice rifle.

Check the below pics from a Navy Arms catalog...You have rifle "C" $200 dealer cost back in the 90's

It seems Navy Arms liked to "create" rifles. I understand many of the "Unissued" Chinese T53 came out of Navy Arms but that wasn't the way they went in.

Interesting how much they want for the ballester molina.

Thank goodness those catalog gun and ammo prices are not current! My nest egg would be vaporized and the range would be a lot more crowded!!
