Surplus 303 British at CTD **UPDATE 08-23 First Post**

Ordered 400rds of .30-06 on clips and 480rds of .303 loose.

The .30-06 case has 16rds of HXP 73 and the rest HXP 77.

The .303 case has 144rds of HXP 75 and the rest HXP 69.


Condition is good for all of it.

I have been lurking this tread but since the only .303 rifle I had was an Enfield No.5 "Jungle Carbine" I did not feel the need to buy a case of this ammo. But that recently changed with the acquisition of a Savage Enfield No.4 Mk1.
I ordered a case from CTD on Monday and it arrived today. The stuff looks very clean.



One round dented (haven't opened all 10 boxes in the case).

I ordered my .303 on monday as well and got it this morning. Looks the same as yours. I didn't have any dents though.


Was yours mostly HXP 69?

That ammo actually looks to be in pretty good shape. Too bad they quit delivering to LA county. I hated ordering from them but the .303 ammo I got from their first batch was nice and clean (and before they stuck their head up their but again and quit shipping to LA county for no good reason).

I'm working overtime so when the next scare hits, I'll be able to afford $130 AR magazines. I know I can count on CTD to have plenty in stock.
