The one on the right is the Bushmaster Carbon 15 with the fixed mag, Tangodown grip and IOR 4x scope and rings.
On the left, my newest toy. A home brew made up of a CMT upper with LMT enhanced bolt, Doublestar lower, Giselle trigger, Wilson 24" barrel, Bushmaster handguard, Magpul PRS stock, 3x9 Leopold scope w/Warn rings. And yes, the sucky bolt and locktite locking the mag in place.
I plan on shooting it next weekend.

And this will be a future project (not sure what yet, but had to get it now while the getting is good).

8 WEEKS? I bought the tools, and cherrypicked the parts-3 weeks and 4 vendors to get everything (except the stripped lower). Would have been faster, except I was undecided on a few things. Longest wait on any one item was about 8 days. So I built it myself (the varminter a few posts up), which was no biggie (even as a first build). And the tools are useful for breakdowns and parts upgrades down the road anyway. I go crazy just waiting for my 12 day CA BF . 8 weeks... your level of patients is much higher than mine .

where did u order ur uppers? It looks like alot of the places are sold out on parts but http://www.model1sales.com have uppers in stock, my friend just order from them.

I've heard mixed results for model1sales.

I got my upper from Eagle Firearms ( http://www.eaglefirearms.net/eagle_firearms.htm )

Eagle Firearms had a great reputation on AR15.com, and they actually had the items they stated in stock... well... in stock!

Got my product within' 8 days of placing the order. Complete RRA chrome lined upper w/ tac carry handle and everything else you need, for $550 or so. Good deal, good place.

I can get the upper in 10 days but i wanted the flash hider work done by them and they can rephosphate it also while they have it.

Well i have plenty of other guns to shoot that havent even been fired yet. i got my full custom Yobo 1911 back with the Elite *1 package and damascus slide, henry rifle in 45 colt and a rem 870 express. Lots to keep me busy for a month at least.

The Upper isnt coming complete they are assembling it for me, maybe thats why the wait is so long. I can order the parts and just have them ship it as parts and install it myself...hmmmm maybe them doing the assembly is the hold up. If so i wil have them ship parts and assemble it.

Although I certainly think the M4 has a much cooler look to it, I am more comfortable shooting the A2 rifle without optics and using the Iron sight. I guess the fixed A2 stock and iron sights are a hard habit to break thanks to years of PRK oppression.

And NO my kitchen isn't as awesome as Ben's kitchen ... but my backyard does indeed kick ***.
