The fact simple fact is what you see on this thread are alternatives that are miles ahead, in every metric, of the mini-14 ranch that was the old alternative.

And there are millions of AR owners who own a semi auto version of a firearm designed to be select fire. Essentially you could use the same logic to say a non select fire AR is "the dumbest thing you ever saw".

I know I posted this on the AR15 and CA Legal picture thread, but I'm pretty proud of how this turned out, so...




I can definitely say I'd recommend the Thordsen stock for a featureless option, especially with how it lets you comfortably wrap your thumb around. Almost feels like you aren't compromising anything.

I just drilled a hole. Used a few washers between the afg and frame and used the stock grip mount on the ak. I did dremel a bit to get it angled correctly to the stock. Its very secure and feels comfortable. At least for me that is...

I'm sorry folks , I have seen CA guns before and they have had the grip angled back in most cases ....
this is my 1st look at fin grips.....
Granted I am sure many of you have a need for these and they solve your current dilemma , I get that. I do.
But dang , that's the most ridiculous thing I seen in some time.
Are these expensive? Where is a good online source for these?
Doesn't matter for what kind of gun , I'm going mount it to a plaque with an engraved plate proclaiming , "dumbest thing I ever saw" on it.
Should be a law against those things , have to hinder gun control some.
And for what REAL reason? Geeze.
I'm sure they are used safely everyday , but I sometimes only scrap a 6x6 inch opening through the ice on my windshield in the winter ..... don't make it right.

I have a MMG... I just didn't like it. I will test this out and see how long it lasts. Its actually very comfortable.

Thanks for the pic and being very innovative. I like the AK but the only featureless option for it is a grip wrap or monsterman.

Some like it better than a Magazine Lock or Bullet button, I don't personally. I tried a featureless grip, and it just destroys the ergonomics completely. Some don't want to register their rifle in the upcoming AWB next year, and this is a way out of that was well.

Hopefully not coming to a theater near you. May the FBI rescue us all from the She-Hag.
