I know that the ARAK 21 would work with the FRS-15 stock, but I was just wondering if anybody have taken off the buffer tube and replaced it with a plug, and how it would feel to shoot it like that.

Gotcha!! We haven't experimented with that but I'd imagine it's not very comfortable. It would definitely make it harder to maintain a sight picture, irons especially. Could possibly put unnecessary stress on the shooters neck since there's no support from the BT.

You dont want to do that. No cheek weld at all.
For a laugh I pulled the stock from my Scar and put on the FRS.
Not an ideal setup without a tube

Yes. It's a little on the tight side though so I'm considering doing a little clearancing on the stock, but first I'll just shoot it more.

Hey guys, I just got my new Thordsen Custom stock and I couldn't wait to put it on. I really think it looks great and now I can finally use my Hi cap mags.

I like the thinking, but aren't you now getting a pistol grip below the top of the trigger?
