Yup. It's looking like mid July. I just finished the drop testing for the third trial run and they pass with flying colors. I'll be authorizing the production run on Monday 6/17 and it will take about 4ish weeks to run and ship the first 3000 units. I'll be posting HQ pics and drop test video of the final version on our website, facebook page, and Calguns thread before the weekend is out.
In the meantime here's some eye candy!!
The final color, texture and final checkering are AWESOME!!
This is an experimental .308. With highly modified CMMG lower and a custom made muzzle brake I made last weekend.

holy smokes ......a featureless .308 ....hhhmmmmm.....if your lower works out(I`m pretty sure it will)....will you be selling them? I would like the complete cmmg .308 lower assembly with the ambi mag release (exactly like the picture you listed in this thread) with the muzzle brake shipped to my FFL..or better yet...will you be selling assorted cmmg .308 uppers so i can chose the upper?...IF so...then I could buy a complete thordsen/cmmg rifle shipped to my FFL (which would be a lot better)....I would buy that for sure...put me on your listLast edited by stag6.8; 06-16-2013, 1:06 PM.Walked in application: May 10th 2021

Slow down there!! We have enough to do just getting the stock off and running!! We have tons of preorders, dealers, manufacturers, and distributors screaming for it. I will tell you that we are talking to a few .308 lower manufacturers about doing special runs specifically to accommodate the FRS-15. These things take time to and a lot of $$$ to iron out so please be patient.
