    M1919 problems

M1919 won't dry-fire. Pull trigger and no click. Any ideas? They made sure everything was assembled properly after field-stripping it.

It was purchased many years ago so I'm not sure if he even remembers but I'll have to ask the guy who owns it and find out.

DRH, yes we were very careful not to have it come flying out at us and we even put up a piece of wood behind it just in case it decided it wanted to go launching off somewhere.

Is the timing screw the one right above the actual trigger blade with that weird wire spring wrapped around it?

Has anyone messed with the head space? If it doesn't lock up if won't dry fire. Also, try pushing up on the trigger to see if there is enough movement for it to reset the disconnect. Also check the disconnect to make sure it hasn't froze up. If you where in my area I would offer to meet up and help. I have built a few.

Oh yea, yes, the timing screw is the one right above the trigger blade.
