In my original comment, I was referring to the bullet button being bought on eBay for cheap and how I own and bought the premium directly from PSA, but I figured it was implied. With that said, I couldn't justify spending $15+ for the bullet button elsewhere.

I guess the question I'd like to ask you is, "why are people like me considered an a**hole for mentioning eBay, when the intent of my reply was to help a fellow member decide one product over another?"

I'm glad that the majority of the community I've interacted with never bashed me if I did or said something wrong. Just point it out and be constructive with your criticism. Point out the issue and don't attack someone's character simply because they don't share your views. However, that's just my opinion on how I would've handled it.

Sorry, I doubt you bought a "bullet button" on ebay for $5. You either bought a magazine lock or an outright counterfeit. "Bullet Button" is a trade name and owned by a member here who developed it. If you an inferior product from off ebay, don't complain if it doesn't work at some point and realize that you saved yourself a few bucks by not supporting the guy(s) (It was really both Radd and Prince50 who both developed their own mag locks at the same time after Prince50 had already developed the P50 lock) who developed it and is largely responsible for the CA OLL movement exploding. If everyone acted like you, there would be no reason for anyone to develop anything for the CA firearms market. Good going!

This is what I was referring to, I wasn't aware you'd gotten 'dinged' just 3 days ago. I remembered it from a year or so ago. But now I can see why you're hyper sensitive about it....I was just trying to save the OP $20...don't see why that is not adding to the thread.

Just to make sure we're on the same page. By bullet button, I was referring to this:

Even Riflegear refers to this as a bullet button:

      Not this:

The bullet button I installed is fixed and no adjustments can be made to the device.

By my understanding (please correct me if I'm wrong), is that the Prince50 allows you to screw it a certain way and use a tool to release the mag. Or, you can screw it another way and it'll act like a regular mag release.

If you and the majority here were to tell me that the "bullet button" I got is shady, then I apologize for my ignorance. I was in no way flagrantly promoting counterfeit and/or shady business practices (this is a violation of the TOS). If anything, maybe I should refer to what I got as a "mag release" button and for that, I apologize for the confusion. If you look throughout this forum, the term "bullet button" is used to generalize the mag release, or at worst, they're used interchangeably. Hence, my confusion.

With that said, I'm new to all of this and I'm learning as I go. All of the knowledge I've gained is thanks to the Calguns community (for which I'm thankful for) and various google searches. So there's no reason to attack my character, or criticize me without getting all the facts.

      Reference:
"...The button can also be used as a real mag button when using it as such is permitted by law. Simply turn the allen screw counter clockwise three times to gain such functionality. Turning it three times clockwise re-locks the magazine. To complete turns either way, you are required to use the included allen wrench, which meets the requirements of a tool as set forth by the CA DOJ."

Actually, I was merely referring to the fact that instead of making comments that add something positive to a thread in a civil manner, you seem to think that it is cute to make nasty remarks. You come off as a Troll with the personality of a bucket of cold spit.
