4 inch muzzle break

Thinking of pin/welding a 4 inch muzzle break on my 12 1/2 " barrel anyone have any suggestions ?

I'd suggest getting a longer barrel. Might be the best route to go. 40$ for a silly attachment that needs to be welded on or look at green mountain barrels for 150$.

Perhaps he don't have the $$ for a new barrel. A 4" mb that's used to meet the OAL 16" cost around $25 only.

I get the low budget side of things but often you can flip an upper for the similar price of a new psa upper.

I have the upper on a pistol now but it seems really long and after the nov KX3 is attached it's only about 3/4" short of 16" so it seems to make sense to pin/weld and make it a rifle and it has a troy handrail that goes over it so you wouldn't see anything but the end of the break

I saw you bump this.
Are you looking for a source for a 4" brake?... There may not be many options for this length. Only one I can think of is the XM series Colt brakes that were on NAM era carbines. Bushmaster used to sell a replica. I have one and they are quite long.
Looking for advice how to do it? You tube, silver solder maybe. I have done a drill and pin job without a drill press. Easier than what one may think.
Need encouragement in should you do this or not? I have no answer here.
