  • CDNN Flattop Riser

Does anyone have any experience with this? Is it any good? It will be going on a SU-16CA to help protect the plastic mount...

If you just want to protect the plastic rail I would get a riser with ...well less rise. That one looks to be a 1 inch riser.

    Maybe on eof these....

On the other hand, you should be able to use your irons with the 1" riser. I have this one: tri-rail see through mount and can leave and use the irons.

You should be OK with any of these on the CA model, but older models (SU-16, SU-16A) wouldn't fit a rail designed for the AR15, since the original SU rails aren't Picatinny/M1913 spec. The two cross screws won't line up at the same time.

Keltec says the SU16CA has a true M1913 spec rail, but I haven't actually measured one.

Do be wary of lower-cost CDNN scope accesories.
Lots of them are junky Chinese crap.

If you happen to be putting a nice scope + rings on this riser (some versions have rings built in) check that you are not (over)torquing your scope when you tighten the rings - conceivably a scope reamer tool is necessary.

It's one thing if you trash a Tasco or Simmons (can you trash trash???) but another thing if it's a nice Burris, Leupold, Nikon, etc. scope.

On my SU-16A the spacing was all right, but the width of the rail is narrower than true M1913 spec, which can result in canted optics. Fortunately, the riser I put on was out of spec as well and it worked out just fine.
