Ak has a painted MMG and the AR has a bullet button, so 100% legal here
This is my 2nd AK build, its a screw/weld build, built from a flat. I could have probably done it screw build alone, but I wanted extra strength so i welded a few spots. Overall this AK is 10x better than my first build and expect it to perform flawlessly.
The AR is a Mega gator lower, i forgot what LPK i used, i think i have a CMMG buttstock? I got the upper from a fellow calgunner, but im not sure of the make, but it shoots perfectly. Put about 200 or so rounds down the pipe last week with no hiccups at all.
One last note, being the proud parent of an AK and an AR I will say i love the AK more, but maybe I'm just biased
