10%, are you going to have a booth at the OC Fairgrounds this weekend by any chance?

I am waiting for a new Noveske build. I intended to install the standard P50 - I don't shoot competition and I wont be getting out of state much. Now I'm having second thoughts, I think a BBII might be a better choice.

Still waiting for Addax review and pics

Sorry, I barely have enough time to run this shop let alone do the gun show circuit. However, everything I ship gets anywhere in CA in three days or less! Well once I ship it. I ship twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays.

Also, I just stole a black anodized BB II nut and put in a customer's BB I build and man, why didn't we blacken these babies sooner! I have too many more guns to build tonight to post a picture, but man does it look much better. As soon as I get the surplus nuts in, I am buying three for myself!

www.tenpercentfirearms.com was open from 2005 until 2018. I now own Westside Arms.

        Wes,
Thanks for the pic, that what I needed to know. My concerns are addressed as far as the bullet button goes.

            Wooger,

No BULLET-BUTTON or BULLET-BUTTON II will allow the catch to be rotated out of the gate on the left side.

Some other units available will allow this condition, By design they have to. They are installed from the left side of the rifle.

Both of my BB designs install from the right side of the rifle.

What that means is that the nut is screwed onto the mag catch, after it is installed in the rifle. Any design where you have to screw the mag catch into the lock will allow the condition you describe.

Thanks for asking the question. I hope I cleared the issue up.

Thank you all again for the positive feedback.

I had to read your post twice in order to confirm that it was really you, Gene, and not some product manager in Darin's marketing department.

I would never say never. From Darin's description, it sounds like it can suffer the same fate, but from a different case. It seems too risking in my view.

But on the other hand, your point is good, and I will order one from Wes and report my findings back here to the benefit of the member community.

BBv1 works great and I recommend people who are more risk-adverse to stay with that for now. I have two BBv1 which work great.

I have on my weapons my original RSML. There were two other design issues in the beta BB's that allowed you to pinion them over. Darin has since moved his designs much closer to mine. You are not going to be able to pinion one of his new designs over to actuate the magazine catch - it's just not going to happen.

I've spent weeks with CAD and actual installed hardware. The failure you're so worried about is not likely with a round deeper nut and a longer, narrower throat at the base of the button - all of which made it in. The burr is unnecessary moving forward.

If you still don't believe me, buy one, put it on a lower and see if you can pin the mag catch and actuate it.

J&J are building my Noveske - I'm just waiting for them to order some of the new BBII's and you to ship.
