Kali 9/KR-9 - why so many for sale??

Why are lot of folks selling their Kali 9/KR-9 rifles? I see lot of them on calguns marketplace.

Are they selling because the company is out of business and worried about support?

    Thanks

How many...is so many? Are there that many more Kali 9's being sold than Sigs, Glocks, Zastavas, Mossbergs etc? It's just coincidence...nothing more.

Don't get me wrong i myself bought Two Kali 9s from calguns marketplace. I was under the impression that people are going to hang on to their KR-9s as they are not made anymore.

      Thanks

I don’t know that there are more for sale than other guns. But I’d imagine some people may not like the idea of expensive hard to find magazines. The 10 rounders are difficult to find even in free states. I just hope some aftermarket company starts making the magazines.

No SBR and 16" barrels in 9MM are dumb.

Only dumb if you don't reload...I can get the max performance out of my Kali 9 if I tailor my reloads, also, it's Ca so why would these have a short barrel? Anyone who buys/owns one understands that you buy it how it is. I listed mine not because I don't want it, but because I thought of the guns I own that would sell faster and I had plans to buy a couple black angus calves with the funds. I also listed other stuff along with the Kali 9 so it's not like I only wanted to get rid of that particular gun. I'll usually sell something extra even though I don't need to just to have a little extra for a new purchase. I love my Kali 9...it is one of my favorite guns but sometimes you gotta let things go.

I think people might have mixed feelings about the extended barrel and fake suppressor. It's always kept me from going down that road. Both with these and the similar version of the MP5. I would love one in pistol or SBR form if it were possible. I am guessing that might be why they are discontinued. When I was thinking about buying one I was told they were having issues with them as well. But ya never know with those kinds of rumors. Often times they are FUD. The cost of the KP9 proprietary magazines was a deal breaker for a lot of people. Wasn't a big deal to me.

I begrudgingly like them, funky barrel aside. Just never "pulled the trigger" on buying one.

Here is a video on these things I found on YouTube for those who do not know what we are talking about. I am not associated with this channel.

I recall someone said they had reliability issues.

I am actually not seeing that many available for sale. I've been scanning the marketplace here mainly out of boredom (not in the market) and it is not like there is a plethora of these for sale.

Never was a fan enough for pistol carbines. Only one I may say yes to is a .347/.38 lever action. Atleast it has attle : )

Oh... ill shoot yours..but not going to buy one. Kind of like fat girls and scooters: )
