Out of State Storage for REAL AR's?

For those with out of state unregistered AR's, where do you keep them? How much does it cost for the storage?

You can always get a safe deposit box. The one I have at BofA is big enough to hold an AR with the upper and lower receivers seperated. $90 and change a year.

Also nice place to store your wad of cash and fake IDs and passports.

I see nothing wrong with it. Seperate the upper and lower, put it in an non discreet case, drop it into your safe deposit box.

I stored all but one of my handguns in my safe deposit box when I was selling/moving/buying a home back in 2002.

Obviously, your firearms should be unloaded. Gun locks might be a good idea. Shows no intent of using firearms.

                  AW storage at Front Sight

You can store them at Front Sight Firearms Training Institute. However, I think if you have to have a Platinum or Gold membership in order to get the storage for free. Otherwise, you'll have to pay a yearly fee.

Isn't Front Sight in hot seat?

Last I heard they were involved in lawsuit from members...

I don't think it is good time to store your valubles at that place.
'Cuz big holes are easier to see.

I welcome it. How else would I learn.

                      Hey, your right!

                      Thanks Guns R Tools!

Here is the link for info: http://www.frontsightlitigation.com/

What do you say to the thousands who bought a membership?

Anyhow, Impact Indoor Range in Sparks, NV offered storage of your assault hardware but due to lead contamination, the range closed down several years ago. That's too bad cuz it was a not a bad place to shoot.

Unless you have a bank like mine, then you'll have to notify the security officer before you go inside. At my bank you have to pass through two doors to enter the building and during that process you walk through a metal detector. If the detector goes off, the doors lock. These doors are also bullet proof.
