      Yes, JP all the way

Going to get a JP upper, 18 Barrel, mid or light weight, Cooley comp.
Stainless Steel Low Mass bolt. Flat top, Adjustable gas block. JP trigger.
On Brianenos.com, forum section on 3 gun rifles, several have
listed the best JP combo for 3 gun.
It is pricey but the best out there.
      And they support USPSA.
If you can't shoot good, at least look good shooting

What about Mid South Tactical. I think that is the company I might go with.

I thought about the Acog w/ a Doc on top but that will throw me into open class.

I wonder if there's enough interest or cost savings to warrant getting together for a JP upper group buy. I'd certainly be in for one.

              JP upper group buy...

I'm in on a JP upper group buy...

I had one of their uppers with the tank brake. It was anodized red and gold (yes, 49er colors). I had to sell it cuz it weighed a brick and also it put me open class. Thinking back, I should have kept it for the cool factor. I'll stick with tactical for now.

In light of the SNAFU'ed situation that the DOJ put everybody in, I hope that new shooters will do 3-gun. Getting an AR type rifle was one of the biggest stumbling blocks for new 3-gunners in this Commie State. Otherwise, you'd have to compete with a M1A (bush, Socom 16, SOCOM II), Mini-14, or SU-16.

A lot of droolers over it, though!

Funny how a gun with "no sporting purpose" can be the one most used is sporting comps in the USA!
