Depends what you mean by "copy". A PSL or VEPR isn't anything like a dragunov as far as the action is concerned, they can just look kind of like one. As long as the rifle you're looking at isn't one of the named banned models on the flowchart(second page), all you need is a magazine lock.

The rifle model (# designation) isn't on that list. So ... even though it has a flash suppressor, detachable mag (that will need a button lock) and has a stock with an integrated thumbhole/pistol grip; it's legal ?

Sorry, but I'm just getting reacquainted with all the rules.

      Thanks for your help.

Yes, if properly configured, it is legal. Any other questions?

Even the real ones aren't banned by name. The only true copy of a dragunov SVD is either a Norinco NDM-86 or the Russian Tigers. The rest (PSL, M76, VEPR, SAIGAs) are AK based rifles that are at best look alikes.

Thumbhole stock or flash hider require a magazine lock.
No detachable magazines with SB23 features.

So yes... it can be legally configured.

Good luck finding a nD-86 or cali tigr. Just a FYI they don't shoot MOA unless you use the correct ammo that is hard to find. Also any mods need to be non destructive, parts are near impossible to find and changes will devalue the rifle.

Is there a Bullet Button for a Chinese NDM-86 (762Nato)?

If so, does it require any type of drilling into the receiver / trigger assy / etc.

There's a Tiger for sale in the Calguns classified. It's a real Tiger too but it's $2800.

I'm not aware of any, but f you've got the bux to dunp on an SVD you can afford to have a maglock fabbed. It would be very easy to do, and require no permanent modifications. Probably just mod an existing design.
