Surfing Buds guns and the banner states ' Colt discontinued carbines 6920/6940 models. What will they replace these models with? Recall a thread about the roll marks and the legality of said models.

From what I understand, the rumor is that Colt will no longer be producing the Restricted Military, Government, Law Enforcement marked M4 carbines. Further, no more AR rifles for sale to the public. Instead, a Sporter version will be available to public.

Details are sketchy, but rumors about producing an AR with CA-friendly rollmarks remain rumors.
