Man California Sucks.... (M14+50 rounds inside)

I just stumbled upon these bad boys for our M1As and m14s and it really saddens me that me can't partake in the advances of technology such as this that would surely lead to great fun at the range! I guess the old 20 rounders will have to do for now...

They are cool but mags over 20 rounds in 7.62x51 are heavy.Make the rifle clumsy and poorly balanced. Also make your rifle very hot.

Good! I'm glad we can't have these! I don't need to burn through $40 worth of ammo in less than a minute anyway!

Since you have those pre-ban 20-rounders, you can rebuild one of them into this drum.

thats how I feel about it!

I dont even look at my pre-bans for my AK/AR stuff as 30 rounders, I see a little box with a minimum of 8 bucks or so about to go bye bye

Dont get me wrong, part of me would have to be able to buy new stuff like this,
but my wallet is happy I cant

Since I exclusively fed my M1As (now M1A Singular) a diet of Federal Gold Match- I always use either the 5rd flush or the 10 round mag at the range.

I think I used one of my pre-ban mags. ONCE....

Yeah good thing we have our government here to stop us from spending too much money on the range, right?

I think there has to be at least one common part between the old "broken" mag and the new "rebuilt" mag. Once the mag is "rebuilt" you can then swap out the old common part for the new common part.

California is simply protecting the poor unwitting m1a owners from pre-mature throat erosion.
