    Difference between M4 and M4A1

I was reading the Army technical manual and I cannot tell the difference between a M4 and M4A1.

    Are there any differences??????

diff. uppers are A1, A2, A3 with varous upgrades and function diffs... the M4 usually comes with the flat top A3, as oppsed to the carry handle/integrated sight A1 upper...

      M4 is semi/3 round burst.
      M4A1 is semi/full auto.

M4A1 may also have heavier profile for better resistance to heat.

Nice racks are much better. You can grab both sides of the rack to help stabilize while mounting.
