Scope mount suggestions for a RRA 24 inch Varmint upper please.

Hi All:
I am looking for suggestions for a scope mount on my new RRA 24 inch varmint upper. I've seen the one piece mount and ring versions. Any pros or cons? I'm open to all input. This will be primarilly a varmint rifle and used with a bipod. Thanks for any further info. c good

I have a thread over in the optics forum that Ive been asking about Ar15 glass, you might want to check it out as we are looking for something down the same area.

Oh teh one peice mounts put the eye relief out there where it should be, I notice the eye peice is around the charging handle area one the one peice but it seems hard to get the scope there with a set of rings...at least thats how I see it.

LaRue, Armalite has that 1 piece mount....

Military uses ARMS #22-High a lot.... for SPRs etc....

Just got mine in and it works real nice with my rifle and scope. Will be taking it out to the range this weekend.

+1 on what 6172crew has to say about one piece mounts and eye relief.

I've got a couple of Larues and an Armalite. All three work as advertised, but I like the ease of set up the Larue's afford.

Another alternative is an extended rail riser like the GG&G Scout Length Rail (Other companies make nearly identical risers) with a set rings like the Leupold PRW series in 1" or 30mm.
