    Featureless AR...

Okay, so I decided to build a featureless AR. Im not trying to promote the product in any way, so please dont go there.

Just yesterday I finally recieved all the things I need to finish up my featureless. I ordered the Hammerhead "trial" version of the grip. By just looking at the picture it doesnt feel comfortable or look that great, but I decided to order anyways just so I can finally drop my mag like how its really made.

So this was my starting product:

Sorry, pictures not that great (iphone). I decided that I wanted to change one since theres really no use of having two (3) AR with simialr configurations.

After puting on the Hammerhead grip...I looked at it and it looks kind of "fat" at the bottom part but its okay...now it was time for the test.

I really like the feel of it. My friend ask how it felt and I told him it feels like holding a Mossberg 500 with your trigger hand and a AR with your support hand. Over all very comfortable. I like it very much and another thing I like was that my mag can now be swapped quickly! always a plus! I also noticed that I can hold the AR with just the trigger hand while swapping out mags. Another good thing. Over all I think my money was well spent. I like it very much!

Heres the after product (Yes, I staked the rear so it wont be collapsable):

PS: IGNORE THE BSA RDS. LOL I dont have a scope for it at the moment so that was my only RDS laying around. HAHAHA.

I can't get over the look of it, but I hear everyone say its comfy, I would have to shoot one to see if I like them I guess. I don't understand why people say "drop the mag how its made to be" yet they were made to have pistol grips too stupid Kalifornia. Either way tho, nice looking gun and give us a range report.

Are people considering the A2 birdcage to be a comp/brake and not a hider/suppressor these days? I've always considered it a flash hider and would not use it on a featureless build.

+1 on that, it must be a CADOJ Approved Compensator or Brake

+2 but I wouldn't say a CADOJ approved muzzle device.

If there has been documented correspondence of the BATFE accepting that a certain muzzle device is not considered to be a flash hiding device then I would put it on a featureless build.

                  This is an example: http://www.primaryweapons.com/UserFi...FSC556_web.pdf

Well if you do not have a comp on there and there is no mag lock device on there you are technically breaking the rules there. So I would edit out that pic and wait for your comp to come in or just remove the FH to be in the right.

I lived in NC most of my life and never heard it referred to as "somewhere over the rainbow", that most definitely sounds more like California LOL. If you are in NC why are you bothering with non-pistol grips then

Because I lived in CA my entire life and in moving to NC I still have the Bb bug. I can't leave all of ca behind.
