The SCR upper is easy to install, just do the rear first to get the rat-tail seated, then the front.

How much are these new FM's going to cost?

With SCR's you can just buy the lower and bolt carrier assembly, while everything else is standard AR.

Looks great though, nice to have something else that'll be legal in the People's Republik of Kalifornia!
Agreed it's been out of stock for the longest time but has been in stock for a while now. Just $200+ more than it used to be got mine for $450 years ago.

I hope fm lower won't be so high I'd get one

Nice! I considered grinding on my BRN180 upper to fit my SCR lower but this puts that hare-brained idea to bed.

I like the way it looks, but would much prefer something that takes a standard AR15 upper, like the SCR. $1000 for a new rifle vs $700 for an SCR that I can slap a spare upper on?

That's not to be ungrateful, BTW, I hope these sell well in crap states like CA (where I pay taxes) and I may buy one. I still wonder why no one has made a real SCR killer that does the same for a few hundred less.

True dat! If the complete rifle is $1K I can see the complete lower being $4-500. Time will tell.

The manufacturer is calling it sub-$1K usually the gun retailers will sell for below MSRP. I am unfamiliar how FM works though, they have different stores carrying exclusives on special models or something. It isn?t PSA pricing but it?s not expensive either.

                      $3-400 would be doable lol

Didn't they have a piston upper that would fit too?

Looks neat. One of the reasons I haven't been wanting to get an AR because of the stupid restrictions on them, needing to mag lock them or get the stupid fin...

But wouldn't the way to go now be the Juggernaut featureless grip?

If priced below FightLite, I would definitely get one.

And talks about being proprietary, that's irrelevant. It's like buying MCX or any other brand rifles. Not everything needs to be 100% interchangeable with an AR, if that were the case, the market will only have ARs. People just need to look at the FM as another type of rifle system.
