Mag release is a standard AR release.

I stand corrected. I was thinking that it's out of reach for anyone but aliens, so most people add an extension of some sort.

As far as stock, the OP is in Norcal. In Norcal, I haven't seen stock in any stores for a couple years at least.

Online it's only been available for the past couple weeks. It's been really scarce previous to the latest inventory. But it'll cost you even more if you order online with shipping and additional FFL fees vs a LGS.

They r made by FightLite now, but they are still around.

I don't ever buy anything locally because they never have anything cool around here. So I don't even think about the shopping being a problem.

Yes the standard mag release can not be reached by your trigger finger, but it is a standard AR release.

I too use a ambi mag release and use my left and to drop the mag. Pretty fast once you practice it a bit.

I have seen them in stock at Brownells for the last few months and at Rainer for at least a month....just got to keep a eye out.

I a, thinking about picking up another lower and using it for a 22 Nosler build to replace my current .223 setup.
