You may post requests for appraisals of Retro Rifles, parts or associated militaria in this thread. However this is NOT a thread to allow people to slyly offer items for sale here. Please use this thr

I don't believe colt actually manufactures the small parts... they contract out much of their parts.

does the s mean something significant? I have a psa ept that has a single s on it by the front end, and has a 1 in the circle on the otehr side
"It is currently CA legal to modify a double-action revolver into a single-action revolver and modify a single-action revolver into a double-action revolver.

CA DOJ BOF stance on modifying handguns only applies to dimensionally compliant bolt-action single-shot pistols and dimensionally compliant break-open single-shot pistols.
^It does not apply to revolvers, manually operated repeating pistols, and semi-auto pistols." ~~ Quiet

Yes its thought to be the mark of L.W. Schneider who makes parts for a ton of different companies. Including PSA for both their basic and enhanced triggers as you mentioned. Earlier ALG ACT and QMS triggers where marked with it too. Colt etc.
