By CA definition, is an A2 bird cage a flash hider?

It's not what CA says, it's what the manufacturer says it is. That is the legal definition here. All the manufacture's need to do is drop the flash hiding decriptions and then all of them are legal here.

I was going to go this route but wanted to try and save a few bucks and do flash cans. Hence my question about the can. Is a flash can the same thing as a flash cone?

I know its just wikipedia, but i have seen "flash cones" referenced on other sites that try to define what a flash suppressor is/does.
