But I don't view the AK as the weapon of the enemy. I view it as a bad *** platform that works every time. And I don't even own one yet. Although I have fired them.

nothing contardictory, re-listen to what they are saying. real AKs 90% go to US civilians and clones or re-licensed are in bad guy hands mostly.
Sanctions wont hold the sales, but Russian AKs could go to wrong hands. there are lots of buyers.. I would love to get AK107

You re-listen to what they are saying. They blame hollywood for Americans thinking bad guys have AKs. They are *****ing about lost sales but dont mutter a peep about their product not being sold in their own country. Sheeple indeed. Then they want to blame the US because now they have to sell AKs to other countries where a 'bad guy' might get one. How about selling them to Russian citizens? Stupid video. Cool rifles.

And they can't sell to their civilians by the law. (Which is changing now).
They not blaming US. Just lost sales.
