Sent my EOTech in for warranty repair today

I purchased an EOTech 512 from GG&G and right off it didn't seem right to me. I emailed eotech and sent this this picture of what the reticule looked like and they told me to send it in for repair. I hope it doesn't take forever for me to get it back.
Here is what the reticule looked like.

I had the same issue and sent them an inquiry as to it. They told me that some people, particularly those with Stigmatisms, can't properly focus each eye at the same distance on the recticle so you get that cross over patterning. I unfortunately had to sell it at a loss as it would never work for me, but they assured me it was fine.

Hope you don't get the same out come, because I really like the EOTech concept.

Have you tried having another person look through the optic?
