I haven't been able to find a .44 SPL so I had to settle for a 4 inch S&W Model 29. It is in jail until I go down to pick it up on 9/14. (It is in Anaheim, and I am one of the cooks for a CRPA dinner at the Compton Hunting and Fishing Club on that day. I am combining trips down the hill.)

I was actually able! to log on! and, on top of that, have the calguns forum index page load in less than 3 seconds!

And if that weren't enough, the Message Center page loaded quickly, too. I'm about to fall over from the shock of this surprise...

You are correct! my good man. Just a few moments later I was not able to log in - page load times stretched far into the future... I gave up.

Now here we are almost 24 hours later and the site appears to be working well (quick page loads). I'll be in-N-out all day so will check back at various times, then report later this afterno0n.

I tried earlier, and gave up as it would not open. When I logged on just now, it was almost instantaneous....???
