Can someone please tell me if this detachable bottom metal will work with my newer production controlled round feed Model 70 receiver? I called PTG and they said "sorry we don't know."
The main reason I am concerned it might not fit is because on Midway's website it says "for post 64 rifles". Obviously my rifle was made after 1964 but it does have a pre 64 style action. Here is the link http://www.midwayusa.com/product/333...aluminum-black
