Vp9 magazine will not work. 1. Alien mags are slimmer than vp9 mags. Aliens are closer to being the same size as a cz mag. 2. The mags have an extreme angle on them. More so than Glock. Placing the mag on a level surface, the mag has a like 10 degree angle to it. *See first picture for reference* 3. Mag release notch is different from pretty much all magazines. Following multiple alien groups there are no compatible or after market magazines available. For that matter they're are no other magazine distributors within the us aside from lancer. They are mfct by mecgar. But only distributed through laugo and their distributors.

Holster mount and attachment is really cool. But i only have the one holster for it. Right now there's an issue that the screws inside the holster have been marring the gun. I fixed mine using automotive clear bra but that leaves my final issue, that is the kydex consider itself is just ok. It's a very nice right fit but as such the gun snags on draw. If you pull the gun out at any slight angle you gun will snag. I'm personally waiting for a gun mold to magically appear so i can get red Hill tactical to make me a holster.

I held one today at my LGS. $4800. The case is an upgraded Nanuk case and the holster adjustment mechanism is very sophisticated. crossout, the magazine is very HK-esque. Does it use VP9 magazines?

I've shot many STI edges, most with tons of custom work poured into them, i also have a 2011 combat Master. This gun shoots way better than both of them. Id compare it to shooting a compensated open gun. Adding to that, the fact that it is production legal makes shooting this gun like cheating. Id happily spend 5k on another.

Now you compare it to something like a limcat, Atlas, svi, etc is more than worth it! Don't forget all those listed above are limited or open guns.

If laugo have their way with the market. I don't think it'll ever be 1k. They have their gun priced to be competitive with high end 2011 and race gun manufacturers. They have no interest mass production and flooding the market with budget guns. If someone copies their design or produces something similar then sure maybe.. but it won't be a laugo alien..

Realistically maybe 3500 would be the lowest for the gun and 1 mag. Current base models are 4k but they are still wanting to product and sell the package for 5k regardless of what country you're in.

I didn't even think about that. Realistically, you can shoot production with this. Wow.

Definitely an innovative pistol. I read about it in Recoil Magazine a while back. While expensive, I think that you would end up spending that much anyways on any other competitively built race gun, so in perspective, the cost is probably well worth it to get a competition ready pistol out of the box.

Definitely one of the nicest range toys you can get.
