Did you have any issues with the original factory finish rusting or wearing out or did you just want a tough and low-maintenance finish?

I don't think the shape of the gun looked good two tone, too blocky. It's a lot sleeker with a solid color. Smooths out the contours...I also did some slight trigger guard and beavertail undercuts.
