Yea, even though my glock isn't 100% reliable, I was very very happy with it in terms of accuracy... absolute tack driver.. As a range gun, it rocked. Probably everyone's favorite..

But for competition, reliable equipment is essential.

Definitely give it a shot. Your experience may be much better than mine.

    Good luck.

Also, has anyone heard of any issues with these conversions?

Thank you guys for answering. I think, I have an idea of what to expect now. Gonna pick up those 9mm mags now and hope it works for me. I don't think I'll be changing the ejector and extractor though, as I expect to be converting the G35 back to .40 after each range time. It happens to figure prominently in my home defense plans.

It should not give you a problem as long you have the extractor/ejector change too. I have Strom Lake and it works flawless and use it for IDPA and IPSC/USPSA.

Argh, the extractor/ejector again. Meaning I'll have to do it every time I go to the range. How annoying

Mildly annoying, but really easy to do. Get one of the Glock disassembly tools and learn to swap those parts. It should take less than five minutes each way.

Before all of that however, I'd recommend going and shooting it with the .40 parts in place and see what happens. If you get acceptable reliability for your range practice, then you need not do anything more.

If it is clearly failing to extract, get the 9mm extractor and swap that in before trying again. If it is failing to eject, get the 9mm ejector and before your next trip.

              Here's the 9mm extractor for $20

              Here's the 9mm ejector block for $5
