So I bought this Python.....made in 1956

While I'm normally more of a S&W guy, I have a soft spot for any good .357. This came up for sale and I just couldn't find a way to resist.

Not a Colt expert by any stretch of the imagination, but I'm trying to learn. I think i did OK.

Pythons are awesome. In the revolver days of law enforcement it was such a status symbol. I had one but ... Have fun and enjoy it. It is a treasure and thank you for sharing

They do not have the gloss that seems to be on every other Python I've ever seen, but I believe that is standard for grips produced when these were.
