So I'll probably be back in Cali just as the year ends, I have narrowed my choices down to these two for the last SSE pistol I'll get.
First up is the Coonan 357, a souped up 1911/ HI Power hybrid that fires the .357 Magnum
Pros: rare, fires the commonly available 357 mag, accurate, comes with an adapter kit to fire .38 special, takes some 1911 accessories, and Coonan sells silver bullets for it. Better handling than the Deagle
Cons: rare, proprietary parts, last manufacturer to offer it went out of business, .38 super, .45 super, and .460 Rowland 1911s offer interchangeability with standard 1911 frames with equivalent or greater firepower, with 460 Rowland being equivalent to .44 mag
Second choice is to SSE a .50AE Dessert eagle
pros: its a Deagle! Convertible between 357, 44 mag and 50AE, widely recognized. Accurate, gas operated, more powerful
cons: I've heard of parts breakage, expensive, finicky, cliche, large, heavy, .50AE is expensive,....
