Just have some decency and stop trying to take advantage of your fellow gun owners. Or not.

This is America, you decide whether or not you want to be an a-hole.

A person selling at a price higher than I'm willing to pay: exploiting gouger.

A person wanting to buy at a price lower than I'm willing to sell: lowballing bottomfeeder.

What does that have to do with me asking scout where he got a great deal?

Yep.. I hate when people overuse the term..

It's called CAPITALISIM.. suppy and demand.. the American Business system.. if you don't like a price, don't buy... if enough people don't buy then the price will drop..

I think some on here would be happier living a socialist/communist country.. lol

I would argue that even for essential items, so called gouging can be a good thing.

                  Someone's home has been damaged/ destroyed in a hurricane/ tornado/ earthquake.

Do you think the government FEMA or some other agency will come to their rescue promptly? I doubt it.

It's going to be some guy in Kansas or elsewhere who goes to his local Home Depot and loads up on Generators, bottled water or whatever else he thinks he can sell.

He drives all night to get to the devastated area and charges two or three times his purchase price. How is that guy evil?

I doubt people will get what they need any other way.

By preventing him from "gouging" you aren't punishing him really, you are hurting the people who are in the affected area who will find out their money is worthless in their local stores as they are all out of product.

But hey, that's just my way of looking at it.

In this case I agree. Most of us have known about SSE coming to an end for more than a year now. There is plenty of time to get the pistols you want. If you didn't plan for it or run out of 1 in 30 I cannot sympathize. I got everything on top of my list and will not cry about not getting the stuff that's lower on my list because I chose to skip them.

Nevertheless, you can indeed be a Capitalist and an a-hole to your community at the same time. The two are not mutually exclusive.
