Gen 3 Glock 26 Trigger

So I just picked up my Glock 26 and 34 two days ago, both Gen 3's. I also have a Gen 4 Glock 22. I have noticed that the 26 has by far the best trigger of the three. It is of course a little heavier than the 34, but as soon as the slack is taken up, there is almost absolutely no detectable creep. Take up the slack -> Apply a little more pressure -> click - it's awesome. It's really pretty incredible how big of a difference it really is. Is there a reason why the 26 would be so much cleaner?

And the Gen 4 22's trigger feels awful compared to both Gen 3's, pretty disappointing really, although I know this is already a fairly well known fact.

The trigger on my gen 3 27 is pretty good compared to my other Glocks as well. Only one I haven't polished or changed connector on.

Sounds like my G19 Gen3 trigger. After a .25 cent polish job, as well as spending well over a year with it. I have really grown fond of it.

To be perfectly honest, I'm not all enamored by the Gen 4. I mean, the grip is pretty nice, but honestly it's just a little more comfortable. The way I see it, are you really thinking about the comfort of your grip during a string of fire?

I guess if you had the option between the two for the same price go for it, but I wouldn't get one if you already have the Gen 3. Another thing is, while the mag release button is much better, I have to push it WAY harder to get the mag to drop free with the slide back than I do with my Gen 3's - just saying.

I have a Gen 4 G21 OD Green waiting for a SSE barrel and honestly the only reason I went for it over the G21SF is I wanted the most unicorn Glock I could buy haha. Otherwise I would have just gone for the G21SF

I put a Charlie Vanek Custom Trigger kit in my Gen 4 and that did the trick. Very nice trigger now, and even better reset. I know the thing about buying a Glock is getting a good pistol at a low price, so who wants to slap more money into it right? But the money is worth it if you enjoy shooting it, or plan to carry it at all.

Well, maybe (not sure) they are in construction - but from my experience they really don't feel the same to me at all.

I put a Charlie Vanek Custom Trigger kit in my Gen 4 and that did the trick. Very nice trigger now, and even better reset. I know the thing about buying a Glock is getting a good pistol at a low price, so who wants to slap more money into it right? But the money is worth it if you enjoy shooting it, or plan to carry it at all.

I've been thinking about putting a custom trigger in my G34 but I'm thinking I should go shoot it first before I start changing things

YES.
Just grind it off, or replace it with a gen 3 trigger.
