I must be going through mid-life crisis, but instead of buying a Corvette and hanging out at a high school, I find myself wanting a very nice once-in-a-lifetime pistol. The Caspian is it. Well, I want to hear from people who've had a Caspian built for them or who've built a frame into a fully finished pistol what their experiences were like. I'm thinking about getting either the basic steel frame or the high capacity frame, but don't know much about what good choices for slides, barrels, and other parts are. What frames and barrels did you use for your Caspian? How about hammers, sights, safeties? Curved or straight mainspring housing? Is it a .38 super or .45 ramp? Who was your gunsmith? Lastly, how well does your gun shoot?
