FFL that can SSE Ruger LC9

I thought the pistol I was ordering for the wife was on the list till I realized that a lavender version of that pistol isn't on the Safe handgun list.

    Lavender is more dangerous apparently.

Anyone know a FFL that can SSE an LC9. I don't mind making a drive if I need to.

I tried Sacramento Firearms Transfer but have been unable to reach them over the past few days.

You don't like any of the 6 that are on the roster?
      Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

The extra SSE cost of Lavender LC9 could be mitagated by purchasing a regular LC9 and having it cerakoted.

          just a thought.

There's some part of the roster law which says that a gun that merely has a different finish is also on the roster. In other words, if black is OK, then lavender is too.

Somehow, this aspect tends to get ignored, and it's absolutely routine to see one finish allowed and another banned, when the mechanics and internals are the same.

Yeah my FFL said it was good to go. We'll see if I get tripped up on that during the process.

Thanks for the reply though! The black ones on gunbroker are actually priced higher.
